If I tell you too much you'll fall in love with me.

Tonight we are young…..

YOU KEEP ME UNDER YOUR SPELL…..

I could have never imagined my life ten years ago being what it is today – not even three years ago. I had my plans, my intentions and my desires and most of them didn’t come true. And now I’m glad. I’m glad that certain prayers weren’t answered. I’m glad that certain people said no to me. I’m glad that things are going the way that they are because it’s beyond my wildest dreams…..”

I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn, I’ve been hurt but I’m alive. I’m human, I’m not perfect but I’m thankful.

Why is it seemingly so difficult to be quiet? To enjoy beautiful silence? We are bombarded with so much noise pollution that nothingness is deafening.

But it is in silence that we hear our calling, it speaks softly, slowly, and clearly if we can drown out all of the outside distractions and focus in on attentiveness not just with our ears but our entire being. There we find solace from the demands of the day, all of the madness of the world. A retreat in ourselves that requires nothing more than the calm of our attention.

Maybe that’s what it means to find a peace that passes all understanding, sometimes all that is asked and required is that we clear our minds and enjoy the peace of quietness.

“Words written on, over, and under expressions, paraphrasing the story of struggle, disappointment, frustration, or love, adornment, and admiration, she requires no explanation, her words speak simply with a frown or when she smiles at me, I know longer have to ask her what she is thinking, I silently read her emotional content, until I understand her story.
